Ggreat suction on my wool carpets

I purchased this model as it is "very similar" to my Eureka 5.5 upright which I still have since buying it in 1988. I have a smaller home. At my age it is now nice to not have to carry a cleaner down stairs and up. This Sanitaire has stronger carpet and floor suction, Great improvement. The cord is thick and I am hesitant to wrap it "all" around the "plastic" holder for now. Owned since August 2024.

I really like this vacuum cleaner; its weight is manageable and I can see where it has really picked up. However, I was surprised that I had to replace the belt within 3 months of use.
