BISSELL Home Care International Acquires Edmar Corporation

Dear Valued Customer,

We have exciting news to share. BISSELL Home Care International has acquired Edmar Corporation, our long-time distribution partner of BISSELL Big Green commercial products.  Edmar has been a partner of BISSELL since 2012, focusing on selling BISSELL Commercial vacuums, sweeping, and other cleaning products. These products are used to clean retail stores, hotels, restaurants, warehouses and various other businesses.

This acquisition along with the Sanitaire Commercial business gives BISSELL two of the strongest brands in the Commercial Cleaning market. While these brands have similar products, they are positioned differently in the marketplace both having a very loyal customer and end user bases.  This will continue going forward, with both brands and teams continuing to serve customers and users of commercial equipment.  With the change, there will be an opportunity for both brands to extend their product range in the coming months.   This acquisition demonstrates BISSELL’s commitment to serving the commercial customer.
